If there’s one event each year that can make a whole world of difference to the business of financial planning, it’s the federal budget.
With just over a week remaining until this year’s budget is handed down on May 9, details of what it may contain have been thin on the ground.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty in it for advisers to have to act on. What measures will the Coalition government propose to reduce the budget deficit? How will they address housing affordability? Will super see more change or were last year’s reforms enough?
It’s possible that investors across the board may have to, in some way, adjust their plans. This means advisers will need information on what unfolds on budget night, and they’ll need it quickly.
wealthdigital’s research and technical experts will be well-placed to deliver to you a timely and technically accurate breakdown not only of what the budget entails but also how to react to it.
On the Wednesday morning, we’ll provide a full written analysis of the budget, followed by two 30-minute webinars hosted by wealthdigital’s Technical Manager, Rob Lavery. The webinars will cover the same material and by attending one you will earn 0.5 CPD points.
In the webinars you’ll receive:
- An outline of the proposals that impact financial planning;
- Analysis of their effect on your clients; and
- Identification of opportunities presented to your business by the budget proposals.
To register, click on the time you’d like to attend – 9am or 11am.
